to linger and listen to the lilt

before us a formidable sentinel

the drop in front of us plummeted

to explore the underground city

decked out in snow and adorned

a mere shadow of the goodness

our moms watched on

entranced by the environs

we looked deep within to see

we could hear inside us squeals
